MDA LOCKUP

This year, I have the honor and pleasure of participating in MDA's Holiday Of Hope Lock-Up 2007 to help "Jerry's Kids®". To reach my goal I need your help!

I'd like to include you or your company on my list of contributors who are helping me reach my goal. Your donation would help MDA continue the important fight against muscular dystrophy. Check out my web page by clicking on the link above. There you'll find all kinds of information about MDA, and be able to make your tax-deductible donation on-line using your credit card.

MDA serves people in our community with neuromuscular disease by providing clinics, support groups, assistance with the purchase and repair of wheelchairs, braces and communication devices, and summer camp for kids. MDA also funds research grants to help find treatments and cures for some 43 neuromuscular diseases that affect people of all ages, right here in our community.

I sincerely hope that you'll take the opportunity to support MDA. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call or e-mail me.

On behalf of the families MDA serves, thank you!

Warmest Regards,

Wendy Van Boening

So, my brain is still not in function mode... and I was going to get on here and write something deep about like politics or something, because that always makes for interesting conversation, but unfortunately, I can't think of anything...

So I will write on my next favorite topic - KSU Football!  Go Cats!!  I watched the game this weekend, and I was practically salivating.  It was awesome.  We just played so well.  It was disappointing to watch the news shows and read the articles the next day, though, that all made it seem like "Oh the only reason KState won was because Texas was looking ahead to the Oklahoma game..."  Well, okay, I could buy that MAYBE if it had been a nail biter, but come one.  We won by 20 points.  We had 2 Kick off returns for Touchdowns, We had an interception for a touchdown, and another interception for a field goal... We gave Colt McCoy ANOTHER concussion that took him out of the game for a while... Basically, we had a PERFECT game - and we only won because Texas wasn't paying attention???? I don't think so!  Grrrr....

Holy Smokes Batman!

Crazy.

Yes, Linda, that is my son - he is going to be Batman for halloween (he picked).  It's pretty cute, really, he sings the "batman" song and everything... nanananana BATMAN!!!  I have a short video of it, but no idea how to load it so I guess you guys just don't get to see it :)

So I went past the "other" site, more out of morbid curiousity than anything... and I was lost.  Has "Kansas" gone completely off the deep end?  It really seemed like there were about three people all talking to each other using different names... I doubt you will be seeing me there at all because I just don't know if I have the energy to try and read around that!

Things have been well here.  Trying to plan a wedding, and discovering that a LOT more goes in to it than I thought... and it is never going to be done, I think :)  We should've just eloped... Oh well, then I think I would have been disappointed that I didn't get to have that wedding that every little girl dreams of, right?

I was going to try and post something metnally stimiulating, HOWEVER, I have discovered that my mental acuity for the day is ZERO, and yep, I simply can't think... We will try that more later :)

Good to see everyone - glad I finally managed to get this thing up and running... and now, if I can figure out how to do some of the "make this page look cool" stuff, I will get to work on that, so you all aren't looking at my plain boring page all the time :)

Testing... Testing...

So, I am just checking this thing out, to see if it is working or not...

Will report back LATER with a more insightful posting :)
